This quadruple room is a dive into the past: its ancient loopholes, framed by boiserie, once served to monitor and defend the house, a reminder of 19th-century Sicily. Refined furnishings include elegant copper headboards and a wooden ceiling with a window to the sky. Raw earth encloses a “carpet” of original early 20th-century cement tiles.
